Agile Project Manager - Lima, Perú

Taller Technologies Perú is part of the Talent Trust group, based in San Francisco with operations in Latin America, Asia and Europe. We are seeking a seasoned Agile Project Manager for the staff. The Agile Project Manager facilitates the execution of one or more software projects under an iterative or continuous delivery model performing a variety of project support tasks such as helping the team to update burndown/burnup charts, metrics reporting and facilitating meetings. The Agile Project Manager is responsible for the integrity of the Scrum/Kanban process. He or she understands the Scrum or Kanban process and coordinates/communicates across groups to provide on-time, quality deliverables that meet customer expectations. A key activity of the Agile Project Manager is guiding team activity through leadership and support toward project/team goals.
Job Description   
-      Sprint Execution and reporting for time-boxed (1-4 week) sprint planning and execution for projects running under the Scrum process
-      Anticipation and proactive tracking/recording/removal/escalation of impediments
-      Facilitate the team in identifying and managing interactivity dependencies within product development
-      Facilitate the estimation of Product Backlog Items where appropriate and other activities within the context of agile methods
-      Knowledge of problem solving tools/frameworks and engineering practices
-      Project Leadership
-      Serves as a mentor and coach for agile methodologies to members of the team, Product Owner and other agile project managers
-      Proactively resolves conflicts between people and, if needed, escalates appropriately
-      Enables close cooperation across roles and functions, and removes barriers
-      Shields team from external interferences during sprints or under a continuous flow

-      Must possess systems thinking
-      Understanding of Lean Software Development, Agile and the connection between the two
-      Must have excellent English skills, verbal and written
-      Excellent communication, organizational, oral, written and presentation skills
-      Strong interpersonal and cross-team coordination skills
-      Experience coaching and mentoring teams/individuals is required as well as good relationship-building skills
-      Must work well in a distributed team and become quickly familiar with client’s development environment(s) and product, must react well and work well with external-client-induced work pressures
-      Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to implement software following a structured approach, strong Object Oriented concepts and programming skills
-      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
-      Strong English skills both written and verbal
-      4-5 years’ experience as a software Project Manager using Agile techniques within a technical environment
-      Must have experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach facilitating multiple teams
-      Ability to learn and understand software applications quickly
