Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Full-Stack Engineering

Supporting legal and corporate operations with configurable enterprise workflow tools

01

A global enterprise software company engaged Taller to staff a dedicated Dynamics 365 and Power Platform engineering pod for its legal and corporate functions.

02

The client’s internal corporate systems ran on the same platform it sold to customers, which created a particular expectation: internal deployments had to demonstrate the platform’s capabilities while meeting the company’s strict risk and audit standards. The challenge was staffing engineering capacity that could deliver against named internal programs, including the corporate and legal affairs function, at the pace the client required.

03

Taller’s pods designed and built full-stack applications on the client’s platform. At the center was Dynamics 365, the client’s customer-engagement and finance-and-operations software, integrated with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI), along with Dataverse for data storage, Azure Data Lake for large-scale data, and Azure Databricks for processing it.

Engineering on this stack was a different discipline from generic .NET development. It handled a large share of any application through low-code building blocks, so Taller’s engineering focused on the parts that genuinely required it. That fell into three areas: custom development in TypeScript, JavaScript, and C# to extend functionality where ready-made components did not reach; Azure DevOps pipelines to manage deployments; and the integration work that connected Dataverse to the wider data estate without breaking the platform’s tenant and security model.

04

Taller’s pods delivered against the client’s programs, including the legal affairs department. The lead Dynamics engineer was named Consultant of the Quarter, and the client mandated 100% GitHub Copilot adoption inside the pods within one to two months.
