Analytics Suite and Warranty Recovery: Revenue Recovered From the Ledger
Pairing insight with action so dealer teams can move from reporting to recovery
The Client · A major North American dealer-management platform

Overview
A North American dealer-management platform came to Taller in 2022, post-acquisition, with a mandate to unify a fragmented product suite. Taller embedded 18 people across UX, research, localization, and product management through 2024.
The Problem
The client’s analytics suite and warranty recovery products were built to transform analytics from a reporting dashboard into a revenue-recovery tool. However, the client’s existing dashboards showcasing actionable insights, benchmarks tied to specific dealer-operations roles, and warranty-reimbursement workflows were siloed, leaving valuable revenue on the table. For this to work, a single, unified analytics interface to view all of these components at once was required.
The Solution
Taller designed an analytics product interface inside the suite, bringing a distinct pattern to the work used by the client’s team. This interface included workflow-bound analytics, where charts and benchmarks sat next to the controls that let a user act on them, all mapped to a specific dealer-operations role. The pattern was developed through comparable data-product design elsewhere in Taller’s portfolio, and applied here against the dealer experience platform’s visual language.
The Impact
Taller formalized design handoffs to the company’s analytics engineering team, sustained its contribution to the analytics interface across multiple years, and applied design-system discipline consistently across the analytics product family. These gains were earned by the company’s claims-engine logic, OEM rules engine, and predictive forecasting models, with Taller’s design discipline allowing dealers to experience the analytics as a workflow rather than a report.
